Mushroom Biryani


Biryanis are always my favourite cooking food item.
Now i gonna present the mushroom biryani with all spice powders & dry spices.






Each time i try different recipe for my biryanis.
This is also 1 such new try.

Ingredients Required:

Basmati rice - 1 cup
Water - 1 n half cups
Curd - Thick half cup
Nutmeg - small portion
Mace - a small 1
Star Anise - 1 medium size
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Red chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin Powder - 1/3 tsp
Coreander Powder - 1/3 tsp
Turmeric - 1/3 tsp
Salt - to taste.
Coreander leaves - few finely chopped
Mushroom - chopped to small pieces
Onion - 1 medium size
Ginger - Garlic Paste - 1tbsp
Carrot - a small tiny 1

Method:

Take a pressure cooker.
Grease with ghee and splutter the dry spices. Include in a bay leaf as well.
Add the ginger garlic paste and salt and saute for another 2 mins.
Add in the mushrooms and keep sauting until the water from the mushroom evaporates.
Add the carrots as well.




Right time to add in the rice along with all dry powders.
Pour water and curd.
Add the coreander leaves also.
Chk the salt taste and close the lid.
Cook in sim mode for 10 - 12 mins.

After 2 sec, add in the finely chopped onion and saute for a minute.
