Papaya Halwa


One of the healthiest of all fruits. The awesome Papaya which owns all the glamour quotient in itself.
Am actually happy making a delight recipe out of this glamour fruit.






Requirements :

Papaya - a medium size ( not so well ripen fruit )
Sugar - 1 cup
Elachi Powder - 1/4 tsp
Cashews, Raisins - Few
Ghee - 1 tbsp

Method :

I would recommend to grate the fruit for easy cooking.
Once the fruit is grated fine, heat up a kadai.




Add in the grated papaya into the kadai.
Saute until all the juice from the fruit evaporates away.
At this point, add 1 cup sugar and again keep sauting.
Keep stirring until the mixture gets thick texture.
Now season the cashew and raisin in ghee and top up the papaya mixture.

Well textured thick Papaya Halwa is ready.
