Green Gram Dal Rasam


I had cold and I had nothing left but some green gram dal handy.. I quickly decided to make a nice hot and sour drink out of them. 





Took the Green Gram Dal, washed them thoroughly.
Poured in lots water, Say 2 cups water for 1/4 cup Dal.
Just added less salt and turmeric powder, when they get cooked.
I waited till the dal was cooked well.
Drained the water into a vessel, added 2 tbsp Pepper Powder, and 1/4 tsp Cumin Powder.
Let the dal water boil for sometime.
Add in crushed Garlic pods.
Drink Hot :-)
