Laddoos.. Hurray....

Wanted a quick try on the traditonal laddoos.. Yes cooking ofcourse.

Ingredients Reqd:
For the Bhoondhis:
1 and half cup Gram Flour
1 cup water

For the Sugar Syrup:

2cups sugar ( if you are sweet toothe else 1 and quarter/ 1 and half)
Powdered Cardamom - 1sp
Chopped almonds to garnish
Few petals of Saffron.
1 cup water

Process:
Immerse the sugar in water and allow to boil ( in sim)
Put the cardamom powder.
Keep stirring till the syrup goes thick.
1 string consistency would be enough

Meantime pour water into gram flour and make a batter.
Batter should be neither thick nor loose.
Take the bhoondhi ladle and pour in the batter into hot oil.
Fry for few secs and take away the fried bhoondhis into the sugar syrup.

When all bhoondis are done, and the sugar bhoondhi syrup goes little chill
make balls.
Place chopped almonds on the laddoos...

They are ready for the party now.
