Kadala Curry


The Kadala Curry is awesome to eat along with Puttu, Rawa Idlis and as well with rice..




Ingredients Reqd:

Small onions - 10
Red chilli powder - 2 sp
Coreander powder - 1 n half sp
Turmeric - a pinch
Tamarind - a small lime size ball
Coconut - quarter cup




Process:

Peel the small oinions and saute them in a kadai.
Add salt and keep sauting.
Once the onion turns its color off the flame.
In the heat add all the powders and other ingredients and mix them well
Grind into a fine paste with water after the content gets chilled.

Boil the Brown hard dals with salt and turmeric--- kadala or sundal kadala as it is popularly called.
Into the boiled stuff, add the grinded paste and let cook for minimum 10 minutes.
Can add in the chopped brinjals also as thes brinjals induce the taste more.
